This weeks Races

Dear all,

Very reluctantly the committee has decided to cancel Friday night's meet and thus the last night of club championships.

Shellharbour Council was in contact with us this evening and it was felt that the most responsible course of action given the current and very uncertain circumstances with the COVID-19 was to try and avoid social situations where good social distancing couldn't be ensured and that the health of our members and their families were our principal concern.

We are very sorry we didn't get to do the second half of club championships at the end of the season. We are not sure yet whether we will base the results of club champs on last Friday or whether we try and do one in the next season, we will keep you informed.

We are continuing to organise for the presentation day on 4 April but are very aware that this may not be possible, and again as soon as we know we will let you know.

It has been a wonderful swimming season, all of the kids have turned up and shone each week. A big thank you to all of those parents who timekept each week, and helped set up and put things away at the end of each pointscore.

I really hope to see all of you back again next season.
